When Dane looks like a kook.

I hate Dane. I do. But only because I love Dane. But everyone loves Dane. Anyone who says they don't are wrong. There's nothing about Dane to hate. He's got mad skills on a surfboard, he's super mellow, he's not in it for the trophy, he speaks the truth. I don't want to fall for his charms but I do and so does everyone else. That's why I hate him. But I do have a gripe.

Why is so much footage of him surfing weird boards. This one is just ridiculous. The board is more like a McDonalds tray with fins than a surfboard. It looks utterly unsurfable and must be cause Dane can't. If one of the best surfers in the world can't handle a surfboard then it isn't a surfboard. Check it from 1:25.

Maybe this is what the board should be used for instead.
