Sandspit

California, Santa Barbara. United States Corp of Engineers created this wave. A rock jetty made to protect a harbor now serves up ruthless waves causing havoc and injuring a ton of surfers every year.

A 15 second barrel is the pot of gold you're seeking here. It can only be found after paddling in a rip so strong you have to be built like a mule to push past it. When in position paddle hard as hell and make the vertical airdrop straight into the barrel. Then all you have to do is sit there and enjoy your time.

Oh yeah, you'll have to battle about a 500 hundred other surfers looking for that same pot of gold.
Oh yeah, don't pick the waves that triple-up and suck the sand dry.
Oh yeah, don't get hit by the backwash bouncing off the breakwater sending you six meters up in the air.
Oh yeah, don't miss the vertical airdrop and crash headfirst into the breakwater.
