Bucky's Backyard

I'm not much of a bowl guy and since it happened to rain here in Southern California yesterday I didn't think there would be much skating going on over at Bucky Lasek's Bowl-B-Q.
But I got to see the end of it and here are some highlights, iPhone style.

Jeff Hedges took a 100 in the mouth.

Bucky reached the cowbell.

It was cool to see Bucky rip up his backyard bowl. It almost safe to say that he's the best bowl / pool skater in the world. In two runs he did pretty much all the tricks he can do a vert ramp, which are more than you or anyone you know can do. I don't get how he's still progressing.. he's like 40 years old, or close to it.

Others who ripped were Zach Miller (Chris Miller's son) who might have better style than his old man (who I think is the best "old" pool skater I've ever seen), Adrian Demain (sick judo airs), Cookie Head Jenkins, Jim Gray, Jeff Hedges, Bob Burnquist and some other skater kids these days have never heard of. Veteran photdawgs Jamie "Mouse" Mosberg, Grant "I upload more photos on Instagram than you" Brittain and Chris Ortiz were also lurking around. Probably doesn't interest most of you, but if you knew what they've done you might care.
