While I’m contemplating over if I should lit myself on fire and start the next revolution – It’s that time of the year here in Europe, the “All-Dorks-Festival”, also known as the Eurovision Song Contest, is penetrating every inch of media and you cannot escape it - I find peace at mind by listening to some filthy garage punk rock alá Texas. To be honest, few bands have aroused me more lately than the Hex Dispensers. It’s something wicked about them. First of, you don’t even have to listen to them and still be a blood fan from first glance just thanks to the coolest band name in a decade or two. Secondly, you actually start to listen and realize in a split second that it’s goddamn f to the antastic. Thirdly, you check out the back catalog thoroughly and once again find yourself jinxed, this time by the fact that there are no songs that suck. Everything they have done so far kicks ass. Everything! Here I think it’s fair to reach out a viral hand to the Swedish “celeb” Sean Banan (I know you google yourself mthr fckr) and ask how it’s possible, in his case, to only make stuff that makes you want to cut your wrists? Anyway, the Hex Dispensers delivers big time, definitely worth checking out, DO IT!
