RUSH: Beyond The Lighted Stage
There’s a new documentary out on dvd about the geeky cult prog heroes Rush!
This Canadian trio has been churning out excellent albums of varying styles, from early Zeppelin/Who influenced proto metal in the mid ’70:s, to classic monumental progressive rock on such records as 2112, Hemispheres and Moving Pictures, via their new-wave and AOR influenced 80’s and slightly grungy 90’s and bringing it all together in the 00’s.
Beyond The Lighted Stage is directed by Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn (who some of you might know from the Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey movie)...
Rush is one of the biggest selling and long lasting bands of all time, and for the first time you can now get the complete history, with lots of live footage, interviews and insights.
Go to rushbeyondthelightedstage.com to order your copy, on either dvd or Bluray!
More Rush?! Yes, of course, you know you want it! Two old live clips (yes, no overdubs & foolery, this is three guys making all this racket) and an hour long interview with singer/bassist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson from Canadian tv a while back, covering the band's whole career.
