’77 interviewed – on tour in Sweden!
The fabulous Spanish retro-rockers ’77 are currently on tour in Sweden. We caught up with drummer Johnny recently to find out more about this great band, their debut album 21st Century Rock – released in Europe earlier this year – and their recent success in Spain. Johnny says there's no scene for classic rock'n'roll in Spain. Well, maybe it starts right now?
'77 first visited Sweden in the beginning of the summer, performing at the Muskelrock festival, that's hosted by the Bullet crew every year. And now they're back, with four shows lined up these next few couple of days. Oddly enough – while all the Scandinavian rock bands want to tour in Spain – '77 has the opposite point of view. There's no real rock scene in Spain, which is why they now try their luck at these fine venues:
• Wed 8th – Café De Luxe, Växjö
• Thu 9th – Strand, Stockholm
• Fri 10th – Live At Heart Festival, Örebro
• Sat 11th – Nöjesfabriken, Karlstad
