I discovered Malia's works few months ago while watching different music videos made for a new David Lynch song. Overwhelmed by her approach, I tried to learn more about her and discovered an extremely restless artist: photographer, director, even TV host and before everythig, musician. Malia is a bass player who notably play(ed) with Marnie Stern or The Black Ryder. Stunned by such a gifted and inspired activity, I wanted to introduce you to the work of Malia. Enjoy!
Danny Larsen is incomparable when it comes to find the best answers to get away with our first Dumb & Dumber interview ever. See what he has to tell about colorectal surgeons, God, tennis, dogs tail, Berlusconi and mimes. This will make your day.
I mean, who wouldn't go as wild as this grandpa while listening to this kind of sound? Priceless. (You can barely see the kid playing with the last bits of acid by the way)
Hellabuster, the second album of Box Codax will be out in May. The project of Nick McCarthy (also guitarist of Franz Ferdinand) sounds more hedonistic than anything else... Is this because of the kind participation of Salvador Dali?
This is just a 3 minutes clip of riders filming themselves, you'll tell me, BUT... You might wanna watch it three times and beg to God to send you there within 12 hours, after you saw the unreal powder Alvaro Vogel, René Schnoller, Nicolas Wolken & Lisa Filzmoser riding it and disappearing half of the time. Right now, I'm just jealous. Bastards!
Forget the communion you must attend to, the weekend you're supposed to offer your wife (and the wedding proposal), the new car you are supposed to buy. Come and spend all your energy (and money) at the 2011 edition of Poney Session, the best event happening on Earth since the World Cup in Mexico'86. You're free to bring your partners in crime or in life, but it's always better to end up sleeping in a cornfield alone at 5am (dedicated to Alexis & Method!)
Kimmi just finished blowing enemies' brains on Battlefield Bad Company and took some time to give us his Weekly Five from his past Norwegian week. Get better soon KRH!
Mon dieu, mon dieu! Knut Eliassen almost became the first murderer in snowboarding history. How hilarious is that last part?! Whatever happened, I still think Knut should be president of something, I'd definitely vote for him. Cool session in Ruka, Finland.
Odd and eye-catching work for their song LightHouse.
Remember when you were a kid, hiding your lost baby tooth under the pillow before going to bed? Then, in the morning, you had a coin or a present in the place of your tooth: the tradition of the tooth mouse. How cool was it?
Well, Clair Neal invented a machine to console the unlucky ones who lost their teeth drunk at the end of the night, fighting, or biking. Thousands of situations that you wish to be in, just to get a present.
Guess what? I have an appointment at the dentist in two days!
