After a week of BBQs, Swims, Beers, Biking and general off the gridness, I´m proud to name drop Zack Seckler for our mini gallery here. His simplistic and houmoristic images are a real eye treat, and the idea with hypnotized people in the "true love" series is brilliant. Check out his .com here.
DTS just redid his site and its well worth a look. In my eyes the best still life shooter out there at the moment. Check the site HERE and also his motion reel at Vimeo (No embedding allowed..)
A free app with a bunch of nice photos will have tomorrow mornings bus ride to work fly by in a second. Download it here.
It´s weekend, you should not do too much reading so in short: Photographer (Dwight Eschliman), superlatives, link.
Did I tell you to check out his site? Well you should.. Once there, you´ll find some great skate action and portraiture along with his epic biker black and whites. Make sure you check the blog too, lost of nice stuff there that is not on the site. Met Scott last year and he´s a nice guy too.. Enjoy!
I´ve had a damn boring day.. Then I noticed that Brad Harris updated his website, which made it a bit better. Gotta say I thought the old design was way better though.. Great work though, reminds me a bit about Crewdson.
Monday: appointment with Dr. Zapalacs website.
Long beach resident and photographer Danny Zapalac is no stranger to the snowboarding crowd, although lately to have been pursuing other objects to point his lens at. His warm style (aka film kids, it´s what we used before a camera became an app) and relaxed connection to his subjects makes for some very nice looking images, and you officially blew it if you dont check out his website.
Also, Mile seventy eight is the title of his first book featuring a good ol´ american roadtrip, be sure to check that out too.
German lensman Timm Köln with a pretty unique way of shooting sports taking it back to the basics with black and white. Click HERE for his site.
