The Dears: Revealing Their New Album

And if they were again about to churn out one of the treasures to come?

Murray A. Lightburn can be considered as one of the major pop artists of the past ten years. With The Dears, his collective created in 1995 in Montreal, they've just given life to some of the most pertinent albums, such as No Cities Left, Gang Of Losers and the last one from 2008, Missiles, based on the duo formed by Lightburn with the mesmeric Natalia Yanchak.

Two years after, the new album is being revealed to the public, with a recent live performances. One of the new songs, Omega Dog has been played during their show at Pasaguero, Mexico City. Just so you know, for the lucky bastards being in Montreal, Toronto and Brooklyn at the end of the month and beginning of October, they will perform their whole new album.

Catch The Dears performing their upcoming album in full at the following residency dates:
Sept. 29 - Oct. 1 - Montreal / Pop Montreal @ Santa Cruz Church
October 13 - 15 - Toronto / The Garrison
November 3 - 4 - Brooklyn / Knitting Factory

Some more video and audio files, all from Missiles.
