It's the story of a guy who is turning upside down the whole french pop scene. He's a brilliant and almost clumsy musician, an ambitious melodist and also a magnificent words "handler", his texts being just far-fetched, sarcastic or deeply nostalgic. His name is Arnaud Fleurent-Didier.

This song will make you rethink about your entire childhood, its principles, your parents principles too. About the first girl you met, the first one you kissed, or dared to admit you were falling in love with. This song will bring you back in the first times of your life when you felt you were different, never agreeing, a teenager convinced of the ideas he was going for. You will remember the first controversial book you read, the first time you tried. You will visualize everything as polaroid shots or whatever outdated pictures that your dad took when you were 3. When you were 7. When you had this dog. When you were living in this house. When your mum had this car. Etc.

Arnaud Fleurent-Didier's album, La Reproduction is a master piece. If you know and like the french musicians such as Air, Pierre Bondu, Phoenix or Gainsbourg, you'll obviously find a lot of satisfaction through this record. Lately, him and his band have been doing loads of seducing projects, like playing surrounded by an orchestra in the Salle Pleyel in Paris, doing a special live version for the nicest radio show in France together with Nicolas Godin from Air (it was briliant) or sharing more and more dates with Phoenix, who they are very close to.

I did not exaggerate. Here is something that shaked my perception of music this year. It's a long time since it happened.
