The Wackness

I've gotten to the age where, "things used to be much better", is one of my favorite sentences. Watching Mtv yesterday made it even more obvious.

The four cornered room I for now call home has a few perks, besides living with my brother it provides a good selection of tv-channels. Mtv used to be one of my favorites, not because I really liked the music. More because it was nice to keep an eye on what was going on.

The way things are looking you cant even do that. First off, they don't even show music, they show clips of the music they will show, when nobody's looking I guess. Anyhow, the short clips of the longer clips with music, the ones they showed me, where horrible. I actually thought the first two where commercials for some sketch show like SNL. But no, they were videos with what I guess is the hot music right now. This made me shudder and I was disgusted.

Therefor I feel the need to do some good. I took some time to put a playlist together, kick some flavor in ya ear.. A playlist with that real music you can be sure I'll always provide. I've especially been hooked on the late great Killa Sha, and the grown man rap pioneer Grand Daddy I.U, some Doppelgangaz and that new Greneberg. A few oldies, some new stuff, some in between, all good.
