Sampled Funk

As many of you know P-Funk All Star Garry Shider has left the building..

Parliament-Funkadelic could be one of the most sampled groups to this day, every beatmaker with some sense of good taste have used one or several of their tracks in the quest to make a beat. From Dr Dre using a George Clinton or Parliment track to make nearly every beat on his 1992 album The Chronic to Digital Underground using the Aquaboogie (A Psychoalphadiscobetabioaquadoloop) for their Underwater Rimes to Q-Tip using Come In Out of the Rain to make One Love for Nas and Atomic Dog has been used for more tracks then I can count, and like that it goes on. Without Garry Shider and the P-Funk All Stars there would be a lot of great hip hop missing in this world. To pay my respect, here's a few samples and examples.
