The best album this year, upcoming album with production from hiphop's greatest... still sleeping on Roc Marciano? Sleep no more.

The Long Island rapper Roc Marciano, former Flipmode Squad member, UN rapper/producer is to me, the best thing since sliced bread. After many listens to his amazing album from earlier this year, Marcberg, Roc has become one of those few "new" rappers I really respect, making a different type of music but still keeping it real and hip hop. All the tracks on Marcberg is produced by Roc himself, giving the beats that stripped-down sound, leaving room for his lyrics to shine. And they shine, so does the beats. It's dirty, ruff rugged and raw. Just the way I love it.

Just before the release of this album, Roc announced a free mixtape with 15 new tracks, called Marcberg Reloaded, was gonna be released the day after Marcberg, this didn't happend. Instead this turned in to an album, entitled only, Reloaded, with guest production from Q-Tip, Madlib, Alchemist, Just Blayze, Large Professor and Pete Rock. Mmm, sounds to good to be true, doesn't it.. But it's as true as the well known fact that The Dream is a receiver.

So make sure to keep your eyes open for Reloaded. Untill then, go buy his album Marcberg and turn it up. Because it's something else, something new and different. It's incredible music.
