ALWAYS AND FOREVER.
A boy who needs a friend finds a world that needs a hero in a land beyond imagination.
Well, i guess pretty much everybody has seen Wolfgang Petersen "The Never Ending Story" at least once in their life, probably as a kid (if you are under the age of 35), but i think its defenatly one worth coming back to for various reasons.
Firstly, i think its the kind of film people of all ages can love; sure, some parts of it is seriously cheesy, but it really plays with the imagination and it creates a genuine warm and comforting feeling.
Secondly, the imagery is superb, just look at the some of the screenshots here; the Ivory Tower, the scenes featuring "The Nothing" (GENIOUS) , the vast, astral ladscapes Atreju travels over; drenched in pastels, cosmic dust and fantasic creatures.
And not to forget, the soundtrack is a killer too, composed by Klaus Doldinger and immortal legend Giorgio Moroder (my favourite track here) + the title track by Limahl.
So, crawl up in your bed and dream away for an hour and a half, because it´s never too late to not grow up.

Read the book it's even better!
